Thank you for visiting La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. We have a reputation for some of the friendliest service in town. Family owned and operated by the Herrera family since 1999. It started as a quiet and quaint restaurant hidden on the east side of Modesto. What once was known only by word of mouth, the popularity and satisfaction by our loyal customers has given us the wonderful opportunity to spread our love for delicious Mexican food into three different locations.

Each location has its own personality, ready to serve you, your friends, and family with nothing but high-quality ingredients, delicious drinks and familiar faces. We look forward to serving you. The Original - Our original location was established in 1999. Throughout the years we have been told by our wonderful devoted customers how this location just “feels like home.” It may be small, but do not let the looks fool you. Come in and enjoy the same tasty food we offer at our other locations.

La Parrilla Riverbank - Our second location was open and ready for business in 2006. Here, not only do we have the same delicious meals as our other two, but a full service bar. We are located at the Crossroads Shopping Center across from the Savemart parking lot.

La Parrilla McHenry Village - Our newest addition to the family business. We were happy to announce our opening in 2013 located in McHenry Village. As our clientale and family has grown so has the size of our restaurant. We can accomodate larger parties. Now you can enjoy our delicous food in either the lounge area with a full service bar featuring 10 draft beers with one rotating tap, or in our main dining room with comfortable booths and tables, or more privately in our banquet room for events. We also offer free wi-fi and phone charging stations!
